Vintage 1940s Spanish Souvenir Miniature Doll 4 Inch Jointed Costume Dress

Spanish? Flamenco? Folk Costume. Hard Plastic or Composition Possibly Hertwig. I only found one other same doll and they speculated Hertwig. Their doll has Germany on the foot, but my doll has damage. She is also dirty, but because of her delicate condition, I have only cleaned her as much as I felt I could do without further hurting her. She is being stored in a poly bag so she does not continue to collect dust until she finds the person who will love her and I promise I will package her with care when I ship her. I bought a collection of dolls from a woman who also bought them all together. We had a brief conversation about them with speculation on the country of origin etc. Much of what we thought was wrong. When I did my research to find out more about each doll, it turns out that all of them were made in the 40s in different European countries and they were souvenir dolls in traditional dress. History tells me that Europe was not great vacation destination in the 40s because WW2 was going on the same countries. My educated guess is that these were bought by an American soldier for a little girl back home in the United States. This is a vintage piece and signs of wear and age are to be expected.
