Up for sale is a vintage 1lb coffee tin from the Yellow Bonnet brand, a private house label of the Springfield Grocer Company of Springfield, Missouri. Springfield Grocer Co. was founded in 1865 and roasted and packaged its own coffee under several house brands, including Yellow Bonnet, Sunshine, Blue Bonnet, and Good Morning Coffee — a nostalgic staple for generations of Ozarks-region households and grocers. Condition: This tin is in good vintage condition overall, with visible rust along the top rim and side seams (see photos). The lithographed graphics remain bright and legible with typical age wear. Please review all photos closely, as they form part of the description. Provenance: This piece was acquired from an estate sale, previously run by an antiques dealer, adding to its authenticity as a genuine period piece rather than a reproduction.
