Description
This filter is designed to protect your lens. It prevents dirt, dust, and scratches from getting on the lens surface. Since it is completely colorless and does not affect color reproduction, it is ideal for everyday use.
The adoption of a Super Multi-Layer Coating reduces flare and ghosting. The outer edge of the filter lens is treated with blackening to eliminate unnecessary light such as internal reflections to the utmost limit. It demonstrates high performance regardless of whether it is used with digital or film cameras.
Compatibility has been verified with Sigma's entire lineup of lenses. Sufficient peripheral illumination is secured. It is manufactured with the quality that passes Sigma's unique MTF measuring instrument A1* for inspecting all Sigma interchangeable lenses, and MTF inspection using this 46-megapixel Foveon direct image sensor.
