■ Story
Asahiyama Zoo in Asahikawa City, Hokkaido. Zoo director Takizawa is working tirelessly to revive the zoo, which is aging and seeing declining visitor numbers each year. Meanwhile, Yoshida, a young man who was bullied as a child and prefers insects to people, arrives as a new zookeeper. Together with the passionate director and veteran zookeepers, he strives to boost the zoo's popularity. However, the situation only worsens with the mayor and city council reluctant to allocate budget to the zoo, and the sudden death of a gorilla. Then, an echinococcosis infection is discovered within the zoo, and the crisis of closure finally looms...
