This is an original hard case that came with a Bach 42BO tenor trombone purchased about 20 years ago. It is compatible with open wrap.
It was used regularly for 3 years and then stored after I switched to a different case.
The hardware has deteriorated, and the middle clasp requires a slight nudge to open.
As shown in the 8th photo, there is a crack in the case itself.

This is a case from the later period of Old Bach, with a leather-like texture and a luxurious feel.
