Description
Canadian Brass Gene Watts Signature Tenor Trombone Mouthpiece (Large Bore) Gold Plated
Thank you for looking.
This is a Canadian Brass Gene Watts Signature Tenor Trombone Mouthpiece (Large Bore) in Gold Plated.
Details are unknown, but it was purchased at Yamaha Shinsaibashi store in the late 1990s. I used it as my main mouthpiece for several years after switching from a Bach 5G. The reason for switching was the comfortable rim feel, ease of use, and brighter tone (I was once told that a Bach 5G produced a German sound on an American horn).
This mouthpiece is currently discontinued and is very rare, but it is in extremely good condition, showing little sign of age.
- Model: G2
- Rim Size: Inner diameter 25.5mm, Rim thickness 6mm (equivalent to Bach 5G), Rim shape is slightly flat
- Cup Size: Deep, but with a slightly acute conical shape
Used for several years. It has been cleaned.
The gold plating is in beautiful condition, although it has thinned on the shank due to use. However, there is still plenty remaining.
Returns due to a mismatch in feel are not accepted.
Thank you for your understanding.
