Trombone Mouthpiece C.M. PURVIANCE 4★1
33.00 $
Description
This is a C.M. PURVIANCE trombone mouthpiece (tenor).
It belonged to my father, who played jazz trombone, but he no longer has the opportunity to play, so I am selling it.
The maker, Carroll Purciance, was active for many years as a leading mouthpiece craftsman in Los Angeles and earned the trust of numerous players. It is well-known that he was once immensely popular among jazz and studio musicians in Japan as well. For those who are looking for this, I believe no explanation is needed, but I think this is a rare item that is difficult to obtain nowadays.
I don't believe there are any scratches that would interfere with playing, but as this is a vintage used item, please only consider purchasing if you understand this.
