Mega Drive 1 HDMI Converter with S-Video Conversion - Bonus Included
11.09 $
Description
Reason for Discount / Imperfect Item
Please only purchase if you understand and accept the following.
- The connector on this Super Famicom S-Video to HDMI converter was replaced with one for the Mega Drive 1.
- Due to the strong RGB signal of the Mega Drive, the screen can appear too bright, making some scenes difficult to see. Adding resistors might improve this. Also, because the video becomes clearer, the characteristic blue vertical stripes of the Mega Drive become more noticeable.
Please check the reference images.
A discounted Mega Drive AV cable is also included as a bonus.
★Supports display size switching: 4:3 - 16:9
This is an HDMI converter compatible with the Mega Drive 1.
This adapter allows you to connect your Sega Mega Drive 1 retro game console to modern TVs that lack analog video inputs, using an HDMI connection.
■ Compatible Game Consoles
- Mega Drive 1 / MD 1
■ Package Contents
- HDMI Converter Main Unit
- USB Type-C cable for power supply
■ Specifications
- Digital conversion from S-Video signal (S-terminal signal) generated from RGBS. Compared to conversion from a yellow, white, and red AV cable (composite video signal), this offers better color reproduction and reduced image blur.
■ Connection Method
- Attach the converter to the game console, connect the USB cable to the converter, and then connect to your TV with an HDMI cable.
■ Shipping
- Generally ships the next day.
- Ships via Nekoposu (anonymous, tracked shipping).
■ Inspection Process
- Tested with an actual Mega Drive unit before packaging.
★ Important Notes
- This product is an HDMI converter. The resolution switching switch on the side is for TV video identification and display size switching. It will not produce the crystal-clear image quality of modern digital game consoles. Image quality depends on the specifications of the retro game console itself.
- A USB power source of approximately 1A is required for power supply. Please use a charger for mobile phones or smartphones.
