【With Box】BRUNO TILZ (Tilz) BAKO 1-1/2G Large Bore
49.50 $
Description
Thank you for looking.
This is a 1-1/2G size BAKO model, a copy of the Mount Vernon era Bach by the German company Tilz.
I purchased it as unused, but only used it 2-3 times as I no longer play bass trombone. I am now selling it.
As you can see in the photos, it is a beautiful item that is almost unused. It has been cleaned with Buzz Silver Cleaner.
The size felt a little smaller than Bach's 1-1/2G, somewhere between a 2G and a 1-1/2G. The tone is elegant, dark, and has a calm sound with a heavy mass. Below are the catalog specifications quoted from the Lemante Brass website.
Cup diameter: 27.0mm
Throat: 7.0mm
Cup depth: D
Bach's 1-1/2G is a bit shallow, so this is also recommended for those who want a deeper cup with the same inner rim diameter.
There is no distortion in the thin shank, which is characteristic of Tilz. There are only faint marks from being attached to an instrument, with almost no external damage such as scratches or dents.
Thank you for your consideration.
