This is a YAMAHA professional model from the 1970s, which was the top-of-the-line model at the time. It remains a popular model both domestically and internationally. The combination of a red brass bell, which is no longer manufactured, and a nickel silver slide was said by YAMAHA staff to have been prohibitively expensive to produce and difficult to manufacture, making its original selling price unbelievable.

I myself have been playing the trombone for about 30 years and had the good fortune to encounter this instrument a few years ago. I was completely captivated by its tone, playing feel, and operability. I acquired two of these instruments, have already sold one, and due to space constraints at home, I have reluctantly decided to part with this last one.

I have performed on stage in concert bands with this instrument, but I believe it produces an exceptional resonance, particularly in jazz and pop music. As it is a large bore model, you can use it in various settings, from solos to concert bands, ensembles, and orchestras, by changing the mouthpiece.

Detailed specifications can be found by searching online, but it is a versatile model suitable for a wide range of players, from beginners to advanced musicians.

Regarding the condition, please check the images for any dents. The slide's movement from the 1st to 2nd position feels slightly sluggish when using slide oil, but it is not a significant issue. There are small areas of lacquer peeling, but considering its age, the overall condition of the lacquer is good.

Although it is a popular model, instruments in good condition are becoming rare. Please consider this item as a used product.
