This is the thermometer included with the current Snow Study Kit.
I purchased it new as a separate item, but since I'm buying other items, I won't have a chance to use it, so I'm listing it for sale.

An accurate and convenient thermometer that tells you about avalanche-prone terrain.
By understanding the temperature gradient of the snowpack, you can prevent accidents in the backcountry and stay safe.

It is also used for field training during the Basic Safety Camp (BSC) course offered by the Japan Avalanche Network, so having it can help with understanding.
