Discontinued CD Box Set, 8 Discs: Django Reinhardt on Vogue

Django, who left his mark on jazz guitar history alongside C. Christian, developed a style of jazz distinct from American jazz. This is his Vogue recording collection. Featuring performances with the Quintette du Hot Club de France with Grappelli and his group the Souvenirs, these recordings from '29-'53 allow you to enjoy Django's effortless guitar solos. His repertoire is wide, including standard tunes and original compositions, blending the charm of European swing jazz with Django's gypsy spirit. (CD Journal)
