1950's Handmade of 42 inches Birch pole (likely a broom handle, type home tool) with a 8 inch Pine horse head totaling 50 inches. As was the custom in that time period in the mountains of Appalachian excessive wood from home projects were used elsewhere, resourcefulness of this time.
