This is a haori (Japanese traditional outer garment) style cardigan from Wamonya Kaya.
It is part of the HAKURAI (foreign import) series, inspired by the Meiji era's Civilization and Enlightenment period.
This item is now discontinued.
The design features a modern arrangement of the traditional Ichimatsu (checkerboard) pattern. It can be worn over traditional Japanese clothing, or styled casually with Western clothing such as T-shirts and denim.
Made from 100% cotton with a smooth texture, it is useful for three seasons (spring, summer, autumn) and can also be used for air conditioning protection or sun protection.
