BACH 100th Anniversary Limited Edition Trombone 42BOF GB - Excellent Condition

This is a Bach 42BOFGB. This is not the current reissue model. It is a limited edition model from 2018 with beautiful engraving and a rare gold brass bell. It has been carefully used for about six months and has been well-maintained since, making it in excellent condition. It comes with a 100th-anniversary limited edition hard case. The case also has some minor scratches but is in good condition.
Aside from minor lacquer scratches from turning the ring (photo 4), a small scratch on the slide handle (photo 5), and slight scratches on the tip of the slide (photo 6), the instrument is exceptionally clean with no dents and is in very good condition. The inner slide of the tuning slide is still shiny. Operation of the tuning slide, slide, and rotary valve has been confirmed to be problem-free. It also does not have the issue sometimes found in Bach instruments where the basic tuning value is low. The playing feel has a good amount of resistance while allowing you to experience the smoothness of the newly developed open-flow valve. There is no unevenness in sound, and it is easy to play smoothly from top to bottom. The tone is bright, and it is an instrument with excellent resonance quality. It was supervised by Jay Friedman, principal trombonist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
While a selection certificate is not included, I am a graduate of a music university and previously played trombone in a government music band, so I am capable of selecting instruments. This is, of course, my personal item.
I highly recommend this to those who are looking for such an instrument or those who are considering starting to play a professional-grade instrument.
