Up for sale is a classic piece of mid-century Americana—a Vintage T.R. Hall 1 lb Cast Aluminum Butter Mold & Press, proudly embossed with T.R. Hall Burlington N.C. on the top casing. This heavy-duty, two-piece kitchen collectible was an essential tool on mid-century family farms and homesteads for packing, shaping, and stamping freshly churned butter into uniform one-pound blocks. Complete 2-piece set including the outer cylindrical shell and the inner plunger shaft with its distinct wing-nut style handle. Measures approximately 4.5 in diameter and 2.5 tall. Design: Durable cast aluminum with bold, clear embossed lettering across the top dome. This item is in very good vintage condition with a wonderful aged patina. The metal is structurally sound with no cracks or deep pitting. The plunger mechanism moves smoothly as intended.
