This is the debut work of the much-talked-about female pianist who majored in musicology at Tokyo University of the Arts and piano at Berklee. Accompanied by a first-class rhythm section active in NY, she delivers a thrilling performance that conveys her fresh sensibility. It's understandable why she is expected to be the next Junko Onishi.
