Vintage 8 Strand Green Faceted Bead Necklace Faux Jade

The design of this multi-strand necklace is so classy I'm tempted to keep it. Picture it in the autumn, with a great rust, green, gold, maybe even purple sweater or blouse. The sparkle of the two types of bead, one clear jewel green, the other a more opaque jade-looking green, makes for a stunningly flattering effect.  You can wear this as a statement necklace, certainly. If you have green or hazel eyes, this necklace is a no-brainer. This has been in my mother's jewelry box for as long as I can remember, so I'm guessing she acquired it in the 50s. If I find any photos of here wearing it, I shall post. The eight strands of beads are divided into two ropes, where you can see them attached via gold-tone metal findings at the back, where they fit into the larger round medallion type closure. The necklace is closed via a box clasp.  The condition of this necklace is excellent, with only the slightest sign of wear at the widest point of some beads. The length of the necklace is about 22.
