Vintage Royal Dripless Teapot Royal Canadian Pottery Hamilton Canada Dark Brown
Royal Canadian Art Pottery
This is a classic vintage “Royal Dripless” teapot made by Royal Canadian Art Pottery in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in the 1950s–1960s. These teapots were popular for their innovative dripless spout design that helps prevent messy drips while pouring. This example features the rich, glossy dark brown glaze that has held up beautifully over the decades. The base is clearly marked “Canadian Art Pottery / Hamilton Canada / Royal Dripless”. Measurements: Approximately 9 inches from tip of spout to end of handle Stands about 6 inches tall with lid on (standard size for this model, roughly 5–6 cup capacity) Condition: Very good vintage condition. The dark brown glaze is vibrant and glossy with nice depth. Minor wear and small chips on the unglazed foot are consistent with age and normal use — very typical for these pieces and not noticeable when displayed or used. No chips, cracks, or damage to the body, spout, handle, or lid. Lid fits securely. A great piece for collectors of mid-century Canadian pottery, Brown Betty style teapots, or anyone who appreciates practical vintage kitchenware with character. Care: Hand wash recommended. Not microwave or dishwasher safe. Ships carefully packaged from West Virginia. Feel free to message me with any questions — happy to help!
