Monet 22K triple gold plate starburst Cordelia brooch, perfect for your vintage pin collection! This brooch was designed by Leroy Miozzi in the early 1960's. It was one of the most popular designs that stayed in production until the late 80's. Monet was renowned for its high-quality costume jewelry, utilizing a proprietary Triple Plating process—layering copper, nickel, and a thick coating of 22k gold over base metal—to ensure durability and a rich, lasting finish. The design was created by braided tendrils. It is stamped Monet on the back - see photo. It has a rollover pin closure. Large 2.75 diameter pin. See photos for measurements.
