The Shinko SK2 is a lightweight snowshoe manufactured by Shinko Electric Industry.
It is known as a masterpiece snowshoe that has been discontinued.
It is lighter than snowshoes and allows you to climb steep slopes and deep snow with kick steps.
You won't feel much weight when wearing them, and they won't be a bother even when attached to your backpack.
They are maintenance-free and easy to handle.
Size: 42cm x 22.5cm x 9cm (thickness)
Ultra-lightweight: An astonishingly light 450g per foot, or just 900g for the pair.
Material: Made with shock-resistant nylon resin from Unitika, it is strong and resistant to extreme cold. Unlike aluminum or wooden snowshoes, snow and ice do not stick to it.
Traction: Features a shape that prevents sinking into the snow and allows for easy snow release, along with a tip curve designed for comfortable walking.
Functionality: Equipped with anti-slip claws and uses flexible, durable custom rubber and nylon belts.
Instruction manual is not included.
It comes with a red 100-yen shop bag (old but unused) that it was stored in as a bonus.
