Snowshoes, Aluminum, Made in Japan, L Size

Red snowshoes (bent type) made of aluminum and nylon straps.
Ideal for moving on snow.
When I bought them, I tried them on at home and found they were too long, so I cut the straps by 5cm. The cut ends have been heat-treated to prevent fraying. Currently, I wear size 29cm shoes and have about 34cm of strap remaining (from the first lock) when they are 103cm long.
I took them to the mountains but did not wear them for use. They were attached to my backpack, so there are some minor scuffs, but they are in good condition.

Wakan (snowshoes) are lighter and more maneuverable than snowshoes. They are said to be much lighter than snowshoes for the winding mountain trails in Japan and are used more often. They can also be used in conjunction with crampons (photos 12, 13).
Crampons are not included.
