Description
A unique kinetic Star of David Hanukkah Menorah, a rare piece of vintage Israeli Judaica from the 1950s-1970s. This purpose-built kinetic sculpture features a central Star of David mounted on a precision axle, allowing it to spin freely above the base. The design showcases a Twisted Ribbon Star of David with intricate floral and botanical engravings, while the candle cups are accented with textured, beaded bands. The spinning mechanism is smooth, and the irregular hand-finished candle cups are typical of authentic sand-cast Israeli metalwork from this period. This heavy Menorah is a statement piece that captures the optimistic, modernist spirit of early Israeli craftsmanship. Can't find any signature- may have been on a sticker that came off. Missing 2 inner candle cups Missing bottom felt Otherwise in excellent vintage condition.
