Designed to be lightweight to embody BEST BRASS's ideal wonderful horn sound. Its greatest features are its rich resonance and a smooth playing feel like velvet.
Specifications are as follows:
Rim inner diameter: 17.8mm
Cup depth: Medium
Throat diameter: #16 (4.50)
Back bore: HR-ML
This model has a slightly larger rim inner diameter than the HR-5C.
All other specifications are the same as the HR-5C, resulting in rich resonance and suitability for players in large orchestras.
It is also easy to play in the low register.
Can be used with both large and small bell horns.
Equivalent to other brands: Bach 3 (slightly larger)
There are some minor scratches and dirt overall, but they do not affect use. Also, while BEST BRASS mouthpieces are often gold-plated, this one appears to be silver-plated.
