Vintage Boot Hill Tombstone Salt & Pepper Shakers Salty O'Day Pepper Tate Japan

Vintage MCM Boot Hill Tombstone Salt & Pepper Shakers made in Japan in the late 1950's to early 1960s and often sold here in Oklahoma along Route 66 Souvenir shops of that era.   These little tombstones add a touch of retro spooky charm.   Shaped like the classic wild west Boot Hill Cemetery Tombstones these functional salt & pepper shakers have the irreverent inscriptions typical of the Mid Century era.   They give kitschy,  cottagecore, goth, gothic, and Halloween.   Shakers are in good vintage condition, there is one flea bite (pictured), they free of cracks, chips, and have minimal crazing.   Text is clear and crisp. Both cork stoppers are in place and stay in place.   These shakers are in usable, tablescape, condition.
