Vintage‎ 1960s Cast Iron Tile Trivet German Black Forest Schwarzwald

Vintage circa 1960s heavy cast iron trivet with ceramic tile insert featuring a traditional Black Forest (Schwarzwald) folk scene and the German phrase Gruß aus dem Schwarzwald. The artwork shows a woman in traditional dress in a countryside setting with farmhouse, stream, and trees. The cast iron frame is shaped like a teapot and includes a hanging hole for wall display.  Measures approximately 6 x 8.  The back of the tile is marked and the cast iron frame has four rubber feet to protect surfaces.  Condition:  Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. Cast iron shows surface rust, patina, and finish wear consistent with age. The ceramic tile has light wear and a small edge chip in one corner (see close-up photos). Rubber feet are present.
