2 Vintage Mid-Century Monkey Pod Wood Double Salt Cellars Mother of Pearl Inlay

These unique dishes offer retro coastal charm. This pair of vintage double-divided dishes are made from richly grained monkey pod wood (popularly handcrafted in the Philippines during the Mid-Century era), each dish features two smooth compartments inlaid with highly iridescent mother of pearl / abalone shell.  These pieces work wonderfully as open salt cellars, small catchalls, or jewelry trinket dishes for rings and earrings.  Overall good vintage condition with gorgeous luster on the shell inlays. Please note: There is a natural hairline crack in the wood on the back/edge of one dish, which has been closely photographed. It does not impact the structural integrity of the piece but is priced accordingly.
