Vintage George S. Thompson Glass Pepper Grinder Mill Patent Applied For

Vintage George S. Thompson Corporation hand-crank pepper grinder featuring a clear pressed glass body with a chrome-plated metal top. This early example is marked “Patent Applied For” and “The George S. Thompson Corporation, Los Angeles” on the base, dating it to approximately the late 1950s to early 1960s.  The grinder retains its original grinding mechanism and crank handle. The clear glass body is in very good vintage condition with no visible chips or cracks. The chrome-plated lid shows noticeable age-related plating loss and wear, particularly on the top surface and around the rim, as shown in the photos.
