Featuring a stunning iridescent, pearlescent powder blue rim with a scalloped border, the centers showcase a lovely peach-tan glaze adorned with delicate, hand-painted floral cherry/plum blossom branches. The underside of each plate bears the classic red stamped export mark: HAND PAINTED MADE IN JAPAN featuring a Paulownia crest. NOTE: These pieces are being sold As-Is due to their age and vintage condition. As shown in the photos  there are a couple of small chips along the rims. The iridescent centers also show typical vintage surface wear. Due to these flaws, this set is best suited for gorgeous decorative display in a china cabinet, wall hanging, or as vintage replacement pieces.
