This is a Spode Regency Orange and Gold salad plate featuring intricate orange floral motifs and gold scrolling on white bone china. The design is a reproduction of an earlier pattern originally produced around 1815. It is characterized by a scalloped edge with embossed details and has also been produced for Tiffany & Co.. A rare plate that is a Reproduction of a Spode Pattern Period AD 1813. The back of plate reads Spode Bone China, England Y5799. It features a heavy, rich gadroon border in white and gold, a white body and apricot and gold feather-like designs. Truly a lovely composition. The plate is in perfect, vintage condition and can be displayed on a wall, in a cabinet or on a table. Size: 7 1/2 inches in diameter. Good pre owned condition, only displayed! Non smoking home!
