MCM Cognac Monogram Visetos Dome Tote with Shoulder Straps

Signature MCM monogram Visetos Boston bowler bag in cognac coated canvas with leather trim. Dual top straps for shoulder carry. Gold-tone logo plaque at front. Structured dome silhouette. Timeless designer tote style.  Vintage MCM under the original designer Michael Cromer, who founded the luxury leather goods brand in Munich, Germany, in 1976. He created the iconic brand name as an acronym for Michael Cromer Munich. Cromer also designed the famous Visetos monogram—the signature logo-printed material featuring laurel leaves and diamonds that remains the brand's hallmark.  This bag was handmade in Germany in the late 1980’s > 1990’s before it was sold to a South Korean luxury brand where it is made today. The interior is immaculate, slight fading on some of the leather trim, barely noticeable.   Size 17” x 10” x 5” with long shoulder strap.   During its peak in the 1980s, the brand became a staple of luxury and jet-set style, this is the perfect carry on bag, or short trips away.
