Vintage 1950s L.S. Ayres & Co Burgundy Leather Kelly Bag Purse Made in England

Vintage L. S. Ayres burgundy leather purse.  It has a gold tone kiss lock with an art deco design. It measures 11 wide, and about 8 high, inside it has a zippered pocket on one side, the other side has a slip pocket.    Exterior: Very Nice Vintage Condition. This bag has been beautifully preserved, with a surface scrape on one side, in the photo it looks like a scratch but there is no indentation. It may buff out but I didn't want to attempt it.  There is some very light wear at the corners from normal use. (See photos).  The handle is in excellent condition with no wear.   Hardware: The gold plating is bright and shiny across all areas: the hinges, and exterior latch, showing virtually no pitting. On the close up photos of the inside hinge emblem, it shows some light scratches but they doesn't show up to the naked eye.   Interior: The tan suede lining is very clean.   A beautiful purse and would be a great addition to your vintage closet.
