This is an RGB + Composite Sync (CSync) amplifier module for the PC Engine DUO series, sized to be attached to the component side of the DUO.
Thick double-sided tape with an insulating base material is attached to the back, allowing it to be directly attached to the PC Engine DUO's main board.
In addition to the RGB amplifier IC THS7314, it is also equipped with the LM1881 chip, making it the only RGB amplifier that officially supports scan converters.
It also has a proven track record of connecting to CRT monitors via RGB21-pin output for RGB video equipment.
It has been tested and confirmed to work with ODV GBS-C and OSSC for scan converters and video equipment with SCART input. It provides very high-quality output (see photo).
This product was created through repeated improvements, incorporating the know-how gained from PC Engine maintenance.
