【For the coming season】Expert of Japan Snowshoes (Wakan) - Curved Type
58.08 $
Description
I haven't used it much. Wax has been applied to prevent snow buildup. Lock ties have been attached to prevent the straps from slipping. Please understand this before purchasing.
Total length: approx. 43cm
Width: approx. 18cm
Addendum 1
I have used it less than 10 times. The center buckle has some dirt on the front, but it is not worn out or frayed and I believe it is still durable enough to be used.
I occasionally used it in the Echigo mountains, about 500m to 1500m, during the late snow season.
Since I started ski touring with skins, it has had no use at all.
Addendum 2
Regarding load capacity, based on search results:
Supports typical body weight + luggage (approx. 70kg - 90kg or more).
This product is used in mountaineering and harsh snowy mountain climbing, and is designed to have sufficient strength even when an adult male is carrying winter gear (such as a backpack), which can bring the total weight close to 100kg.
