JEUFFROY Clarinet with Good Tone, Antique Case Included - Old but in Good Condition

French JEUFFROY B♭ clarinet. Comes with an antique case.
This is a wooden instrument made of beautiful grenadilla wood.

This clarinet is said to be a French-made student model.

While Buffet Crampon and Yamaha student clarinets are easy to play with light breath and produce a bright, light tone (but reach their limit quickly as you blow harder), this instrument responds no matter how much breath you give it.
I previously listed a Leblanc LL that played well and had a good sound, and this clarinet's playing quality is reminiscent of that Leblanc.
The tone is a bold, resonant sound, like that of a samurai. Of course, it can also produce beautiful, soft, quiet notes. The pitch remains stable from fortissimo to pianissimo.

The pads show signs of use but are playable without issue.
I happened to play Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4, which was on the music stand, and it played effortlessly from pianissimo to fortissimo.
The pitch of the neck was also fine.

One thing: the pad in the center of the 12th photo had come off, so I temporarily reattached it and played.
You may want to have it overhauled or replace individual worn pads. Please maintain it.

Another thing: the instrument itself is fine, but the antique case has a rather unpleasant smell.
You might consider spraying it with a deodorizer or replacing the case.

A mouthpiece and ligature cap labeled Prima are included as a bonus. We recommend using a good quality mouthpiece.

Please try this excellent instrument.

Thank you for looking.
