Rare Item: YAMAHA Custom YCL-852 Clarinet
299.00 $
Description
This is a YAMAHA CS series YCL-852.
Purchased in February of this year.
The serial number is 001345, indicating it was manufactured in the 1980s. During this period, high-quality, dense African grenadilla wood was widely available.
Furthermore, YAMAHA custom instruments from this era were meticulously adjusted by highly skilled artisans, one by one, taking their time, making it a period when they put the most effort into their craftsmanship.
The quality is exceptional; the instrument responds precisely to the air you blow, with a fast response, and it's no exaggeration to say it's a masterpiece of expressiveness.
It has a moderate resistance, allowing the G note, which can easily go sharp, and the A note, which can be uneven when all fingers are covered, to connect smoothly without any unevenness.
It is truly a gem.
Additionally, it has a deep brown color, the natural hue of grenadilla, which further attests to its excellent quality.
