Vintage 1980 Timex Women's Watch, Case England, Movement Mexico, 17 mm, 10118023
Timex
This vintage Timex features a silver sunburst dial with a natural patina. The dial reads Dial England, and the whole case was made in Great Britain in 1980. The movement is mechanical and was manufactured in Mexico, and the watch was assembled there. The hands are slim and black, and the watchband is stainless steel. The watch is a wind-up and runs okay; it loses/gains a couple of minutes per day. The watch has some scratches on the case and crystal. In some of the photos, the light is very bright, so the scratches are especially obvious. The wristband will fit some women's wrists. Without stretching, the watchband is around 5.75 inches around. Stretching a little, the watchband goes up to around 6.5 inches. These two sizes are photographed in two of the images. Please message me if you have questions about wrist sizing. In 1854, Timex was founded in the US as the Waterbury Clock Company. Timex has since gained a reputation for making luxury watches affordable. With a history spanning 170+ years, Timex has produced wristwatches of endless designs, many of which have since become collectible vintage watches. • Brand: Timex • Year Made: 1980 • Model: 1011802360 • Dial: England, silver sunburst • Movement: Mexico, mechanical • Bracelet: Hong Kong, stainless steel, stretch (5.75 without stretching, 6.5 with stretching), 8 mm wide • Case: Stainless steel, base metal bezel, 17 mm wide, 20 mm tall, 8.3 mm thick • Department: Women • Lug spacing: 8mm • Total weight: 17 grams
