FIT GUIDE  Birdwell uses only the highest quality and most durable materials available. We use two main fabrics for our board shorts:  “SurfNyl”.  • Our original, proprietary nylon fabric.  Extremely durable and will break in over time similar to denim.  • SurfNyl has effectively zero stretch or give. For a more relaxed fit, we recommend ordering 1 size up from your normal pant size.  • Featured on this Men's style 310.  USAGE  • Please keep in mind that fit preference will vary.  • If you live an active lifestyle in the water, you will likely want your shorts to fit more snug.  • If relaxing by the pool is more your scene, some additional room in the waist may be  preferable.  • Birdwell board shorts are intended to sit  directly on the hips.  Measurements are in inches. Measurements are the actual garment. Please allow up to a 1/4 variance in measurements.  Not sure what waist size you are? Grab your favorite pair of jeans and lay them flat on the ground. Measure the top of the waistband end-to-end and double it.
