Title Vintage Muurla Finland Eva Clear Glass Hand Blown Ruffled Handkerchief Vase Category Home / Accents / Vases Listing Price $35 Style Tags Scandinavian, MidCenturyModern, ArtGlass Description This is an authentic vintage clear art glass handkerchief vase from the Eva series, made by Muurla in Finland during the 1970s. The piece features a distinctively ruffled, scalloped top rim and a heavy, six-sided paneled body that tapers down to a thick base. Please note that the small dark circle visible on the base in the photos is a removable foam pad used to protect your tabletop surfaces. The final photo shows the base with this foam circle removed so you can clearly see the authentic, rough-snapped pontil mark beneath it. Because it was completely hand-blown by a skilled glass artisan, the piece has absolutely no molded seam lines anywhere on the body. It is a beautiful, high-quality example of classic Scandinavian modern design that catches the light beautifully. * Brand: Muurla * Series: Eva * Country of Origin: Finland * Material: Hand-blown clear glass * Era: 1970s / 1980s * Finish: Fire-polished texture * Base Features: Snapped pontil mark, seamless construction * Protectors: Removable foam pad included on base * Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or flea bites #0311
