Vintage RARE 22K Gold Lace Glove Holding LUSTERWARE Opalescent Sculptured Vase

This vintage collectible features a beautiful opalescent pearl and gold gilding sculptured vase held by a woman's hand in gold lace glove. The vase is made of porcelain and exhibits a high gloss finish. It is a rare piece of art and is perfect for all occasions.  Lustreware refers to a style of pottery decorated with metallic oxided glazes which provides an iridescent effect. The process involves two firings: the first adds the color, the second, the lustre. The magic of lustreware begins in Mesopotamia, specifically during the 9th century C.E, in the Abbasid Caliphate.  The medium-sized vase is made in the United States, stands approximately 9 inches tall and 3.5 inches wide at the base. The vase is perfect for decoration and collecting and would make a great addition to any collection.
