Antique Schafer-Vater Pink Jasperware Vanity Set Oblong Bowl & Crown Star Vase

Offered is a beautiful, guaranteed authentic antique Schäfer & Vater pink jasperware dresser or garniture set, dating to the late Art Nouveau period circa 1905. This rare surviving set features a 3-footed dresser bowl alongside a matching bud vase. Both showcase the signature luxury attributes that made this Thuringian, Germany factory famous among worldwide porcelain collectors. Design Details: Body & Finish: Fine-grained unglazed pink bisque porcelain. Embellishments: The bowl shows a crisp, high-relief cameo portrait of 2 ladies against a sage green backdrop, while both feature raised, glossy enamel jewel teardrops & gilt scrollwork. Marks/Authenticity: Only the vase bears the Schäfer & Vater crown-star factory mark. They are an original factory-matched pair kept together for generations. The clay body texture, pink hue, enamel jeweling technique, and gold accents appear as a match to offer proof of their shared origin. Condition: Excellent antique presence w/o chips, cracks, repairs, or post-production damage. Notably, the rim of the bowl has tiny, factory kiln fissures from the factory firing over a century ago. These are stable manufacturing anomalies, not structural damage or cracks from impact. For porcelain collectors, these micro-fissures serve as a birthmark of early 1900s craftsmanship & proof of authenticity. Gold trim & raised enamel jewel drops remain vibrant with negligible, age-appropriate surface rubbing. Approx Dimensions: Bowl 4x6, vase 6x4.
