Exquisite Moire Silk ‘Mat’ and Backing. Made in Italy Circa early 1970’s Easel back, for Vertical or horizontal photo sized 8 x 10. The back slides (down), and out, so you can place your photo inside. (Photo 7). •Measurements: frame measures: 11.5 x 9.75 inches; fits 8 x 10 photo. •Condition: I would consider this excellent condition based on similar leather frames over 55 years old. The wear on this frame is very minor compared.. Photo 15 shows areas of wear (one nick and a few surface scratches). Gold Tooling: excellent. Glass: excellent. Mat/ Backing: excellent. overall it is in beautiful condition.
