With Silverstein ligatures, simply tightening the screws automatically adjusts the tension of the 4-6 wraps of cord, ensuring an optimal fit for any mouthpiece shape and applying uniform pressure to the reed by each cord.
This allows you to experience consistent tone from high to low notes and excellent controllability.

Silverstein ligatures allow you to control the tone and resonance by adjusting the screw tightness and the tuner bars (metal bars on the sides).
Tightening the screws produces a darker sound, while loosening them results in a brighter sound.
Additionally, moving the tuner bars closer to the reed creates a more focused (clearer) tone.
