Augsburger Beer "Engineer" Promotional Timepiece Men's Watch

This watch is very interesting and definitely a rare watch.  If you collect Breweriana, then here is one for you.  The watch band says on it: Made from Beer Ingredients. The Augsburger Engineer watch is far more than a simple promotional giveaway; it is a physical manifestation of a brand in transition, encapsulating the intersection of corporate consolidation, evolving advertising theory, and late-twentieth-century merchandising. Born from the Stroh Brewery Company's 1994 animated television campaign, the watch represents a deliberate corporate pivot. Recognizing that the actual beer lacked the organoleptic depth of a true European import, and having lost the authentic charm of regional brewmaster Hans Kestler following the acquisition from Huber, Stroh manufactured a highly stylized, cartoon-driven representation of German brewing science to sell the product on a national scale
