This is a stunning, hand-carved oversized cigar ashtray (or catch-all bowl) featuring incredible curly or fiddleback grain. The wood exhibits high chatoyancy, meaning the tiger-stripe pattern appears to shift and glow as it catches the light. Origin: Hand-crafted in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands (original gold foil artisan label intact). Material: Exotic figured wood, likely Monkey Pod or Mahogany.
