Description
Gorgeous antique handmade and highly collectible Tent Band Fragment. Made in Northern Afghanistan ca. 1920's. This features a Geometric Pattern with vibrant, natural dyes in Red, yellow and addtn'l colors. This is made of wool and is a Sumac Weave with 5.5 long fringe on one end (included in approximated length of 113 inches). Approximately 18 to 19 in width. These are now a sought after Ethnographic collectible and typically used as wall hangings or as rug runners. In good pre-owned vintage condition consistent with age and use. Some light weave loosening on parts of long edge. Please see all photos and zoom in as they are part of my description.
