A prime example of clean heating. It works by heating sealed oil and circulating it within the fins to generate warmth. Unlike air conditioners, it does not produce wind, so it does not stir up dust from the floor or pollute the air.
It creates natural convection to transfer heat throughout the room, warming the body from the core with radiant heat, allowing you to stay comfortable even without raising the room temperature. While some may worry about the heat of the fins, many recent models are designed so that a brief touch will not cause burns. The drawbacks are that it takes a relatively long time to warm up the room and electricity costs can be high, so it's best to use it wisely with features like the timer.
