Turok: Evolution is a first-person shooter game in the Turok series. A prequel to Turok: Dinosaur Hunter (1997), it was developed by Acclaim Studios Austin and published by Acclaim Entertainment.  Turok: Evolution is primarily a first-person shooter. The player, taking on the role of Tal'Set, can run, jump, crouch, swim, and climb ladders and vines.  The game is played across 15 levels; several are played from a third-person perspective, with the player controlling a pterosaur through the sky while fighting land- and air-based enemy forces.  Turok: Evolution features four player split screen for the Microsoft Xbox.  Unknown if Xbox live connection is still active.
