Victorian Folk Wall Shelf with Architectural Corbel Form

Solid wood wall shelf with a sharply defined, architectural silhouette. The stepped sides and central vertical spine give the lower half a dramatic corbel form that reads almost like a carved bracket or small wall sculpture. Mounted traditionally, it functions as a compact display shelf. Mounted inverted, it becomes a strong geometric wall accent with real presence.  The wood has deepened to a warm, reddish tone over time, with visible grain, small surface marks, and honest wear that adds character without distracting.
