Design and Heraldry The centerpiece displays the official Coat of Arms of Joan of Arc, which was historically granted to her and her family by King Charles VII in December 1429. The heraldic symbols include: - The Sword: Represents her military campaigns, leadership, and unwavering loyalty to her army. - The Crown: Positioned at the apex of the blade, signifying her role in supporting the crown of France and helping Charles VII secure his coronation at Reims. - Two Fleurs-de-lis: The traditional stylized lilies flanking the sword, symbolizing the French monarchy and royal favor. - The Knight's Helmet: Adorning the top of the central inner shield as a nod to her legendary status as a warrior and her canonization as a saint.
